“Myself and my husband visited Curraghduff Farm on our minimoon. Ruth and her family were so welcoming and charming. They have already done a fantastic job in setting up their farm and have very exciting plans in the pipeline for the future. The alpacas were beyond adorable and are so well cared for. The walk was so leisurely and relaxing and worth doing for the beautiful views alone. Ruth pulled out all the stops for us and had special touches like a lovely wedding card and prosecco for us. I also loved the 3 very cute and friendly dogs that were more than happy to greet us. Will definitely be back. Best of luck with it all.”

Absolutely the best experience ever!! We had such a lovely time walking with the alpacas at Curraghduff Farm! We had a nice small group, with 3 of us visiting, and Ruth and her family accompanying us with the 4 alpacas! It was so nice and relaxing and such a great experience! Ruth and her family made the walk all the better, as you can tell just how much they love the animals on their farm and how much they care for them. I would recommend anyone give them a visit and we can’t wait to be back to visit and to see how baby Rubin is getting on!

Thank you, Ruth and Stewart, for such a unique and magical experience! The alpaca walk was wonderfully therapeutic- with beautiful surroundings that shone bright even when the grey clouds arrived. The hosts were kind, welcoming and obviously love their animals very much (I miss my boy Arthur already). Ruth even made alpaca shaped biscuits to snack on with our cups of tea! I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough.

From the moment we arrived we were made welcome by Ruth, Stuart and Charlie . The day began with The Alpaca Shack which sets the tone for the rest of the visit. From there we took the short walk up to the alpacas and were given one each, there were 3 of us, and Ruth gave us lots of interesting information during our relaxing stroll around the farm. The views are wonderful and the individual characters of the alpacas are a delight. Listening to the plans Ruth and her family have for the future means I will definitely be making a return visit...We all left with smiles on our faces after a morning well spent.

We had an absolutely wonderful time walking the alpacas. The hosts were delightful (despite the non-stop rain)!! Beautiful setting with interesting little alpacas, who are shy at first but warm up to you rather quickly. It was, without a doubt, one of our most favorite activity while in Ireland. Looking forward to the possible “glamping” in a few years. This is a “must do” when in Ireland!

We LOVED this! It was a relaxing and VERY personal experience! Ruth, Stuart, and Charlie created a wonderful atmosphere while providing educational information throughout the alpaca walk. We really liked the fact that we were not rushed during our time, but instead were allowed time to enjoy the VERY CUTE alpacas. Important to us was the fact that we were encouraged to take as many photos as we wanted- and we did!
We HIGHLY recommend the Curraghduff Farms!
